Carriers who have a missing or inactive authority on their DAT Account, will see a pop-up message on DAT One Web requesting their USDOT number. .

  1. From the red banner at the top of the screen, click UPDATE
  2. Enter your DOT Number.
  3. A confirmation message will appear stating that your DOT Number has been updated. Click OKto authorize your account.
  4. Choose how you would like to receive the authorization code: TEXT or EMAIL.
  5. The authorization code will be sent to the method you selected. Click DONE.
  6. If successful, A message will appear at the bottom of the screen confirming: “Your Account Authorization is Approved.”
  7. If failed, a message will appear at the bottom of the screen stating: “Your account Authorization was Denied”.
