Auth0 Guardian is a mobile app that allows you to receive push notifications for multi-factor authentication (MFA). To use this feature, you’ll need to install the Auth0 Guardian app on your device.

Tap the icon for your device—Android or Apple—to download the Auth0 Guardian app.

Setting Up Auth0 Guardian

  1. During MFA setup, select Notification via Auth0 Guardian App.
  2. Choose your device’s app store (App Store or Google Play) to download the app.
  3. After installation, scan the provided QR code using the Guardian app to complete the setup.

Logging In with Auth0 Guardian

If you've set up Auth0 Guardian as your MFA method, you can use it during login:
  1. Click Try Another Method on the MFA screen.
  2. Select "Notification via Auth0 Guardian App."
  3. A "Verify Your Identity screen will appear while the Guardian app prompts you to confirm the login.
  4. Approve the request via the push notification, scan the QR code, or manually enter the provided code to complete authentication.

Once verified, you'll be logged in securely.
