You’ll be prompted to set up MFA when you first sign in or when your MFA is reset. MFA adds an extra layer of security by requiring a code or push notification from your phone in addition to your password.

Step 1 – Download the Auth0 Guardian App

Before continuing, install the Auth0 Guardian app on your mobile device:

Once installed, open the app.

Step 2 – Begin MFA Setup in DAT One

  1. On your computer or mobile browser, log in to DAT One.
  2. When prompted, you’ll see a screen asking you to set up your authenticator app. If you wish to use the Auth0 Guardian app, you can select it from the options.
  3. If you haven't already installed the Auth0 Guardian App, you can install it in this step by choosing your device’s app store (App Store or Google Play) to download the app. Otherwise, tap Continue.
  4. Open the Auth0 Guardian App on your phone, and scan the provided QR code.
  5. In the Auth0 Guardian app, tap “➕”, and choose Scan code.
  6. When the scan succeeds, your device will automatically register with your account.

After you've set up Auth0 Guardian as your MFA method, you can use it during login:
  1. You’ll receive a push notification on your mobile device from the Guardian app.
  2. On your mobile device, open the notification and tap Allow or Approve.
  3. Once approved, you’ll be signed in.
