Requirements

To view integration credentials for users, you must be logged into an account that has access to user management

Steps

  1. Navigate to account.dat.com and log in using your Email address
  2. Access User Management by clicking the menu option on the left side of the screen

  3. Click the user you wish to view the integration credentials of 
  4. Ensure the user has a DAT Connexion seat assigned to their user. Their integration credentials will not appear if this is not assigned. To learn how to assign a seat to a user, click HERE
  5. Copy the Login Username and input it in your TMS, or give the information to your TMS provider for them to set up. If you do not know the password for your integration, you can update that information by clicking Change Password. Updating the password does NOT change the password for your email address login. (Note: If this password is changed, you must update the information in all existing integrations that use the login)

Why can't I see User Management?

To view User Management, your account must have the proper permissions in DAT's account system. If you believe that you should have this access, Please confirm you are logged into the correct account, and if you are, please clear your browser's cache and cookies by following the instructions HERE. If this does not work, Please contact DAT customer support.

 

Why can't I see a DAT Connexion seat when editing my users?

If you do not have a DAT Connexion seat listed when editing your users, you do not have the licenses added to your account. Please contact DAT Customer support to request that the licenses are added to your account.

 

Can I change my username?

 Usernames are system generated when your account is created and cannot be changed.

 

I see a user labeled as a 'Service Account'. What is this?

Some TMS integrations require what is called a service account to integrate with DAT. If your TMS requires this user, please do not edit or delete the user, as this will break your integration.

 

I see a user labeled as an FTP user. What is this?

Some TMS integrations will require an FTP user to submit information such as Carrierwatch lists or postings. If your TMS requires this user, please do not edit or delete the user, as this will break your integration.
